Well cool invention, however I have seen Caribbean Islands some Natives playing on bamboo tubes which gave a better sound!! I’m sure if we look on the net we might find some of it … anyhow that’s a cool ting here…

Uakti was introduced to US audiences just about the same time as Blue Man Group was forming, through Paul Simon, The Manhattan Transfer and composer Philip Glass. SnubbyJ never claimed to have invented tuned PVC percs, lol, he builds out of the love of playing…

@cyberkaz Everyone (miilions) in Europe are big fasn of BLUE MAN for many years – the thing is that it saddens me the the other guy had even a FANFARE band in his highschool in 2007with his instrument (hundred of people have seen him during the parade — and not that many people cheered for him on youtube, he played much better than Snubby check his band at least give him a cheer too!!

I remember seeing those YouTube videos and thinking their PVCs were cool too, but it’s wrong to say they were the inventors of the instrument…
@0lympia2008 …People have been making music out of bamboo sticks for thousands of years and Blue Man Group popularized it. So, I’m not taking credit for anything. I’m just doing it for fun in hopes of one day becoming a blue man myself.

Yes, another Montrealer attacked me because I asked if there where subtitles in the schiste vid but according to him I’m supposed to learn French because the world does not revolve around only English speaking people… all I wanted to do is know what was the issue because we had the same problem in Scandinavia.. I just wanted to help out with what I know, not change your mentality about languages… this is the INTERNET whereas people are supposed to help by experiences – shed the hate first!
